Community Theatre
Community theatre combined with educational messages can be effectively integrated into questions and answers through theatrical performance made by, with, and for a community. This approach can stimulate the audience to think, learn and challenge myths, in a fun new way to learn more about a specific topic.
The production can be made up entirely by a community, or if need be, with the external help of a company that would like to impart a specific message, on a particular issue within the community.
The Values component is just as important for Private companies as it is for Government entities.
Organisational Values are often used to complement the concept of Corporate Culture. The usual paradigm is that corporations with strong positive cultures have institutionalised a set of organisational values; a small set of concepts and ideals or guiding principles that guide an organisations' workforce to make important decisions
We have worked on the following theatre productions with clients:
Examples of some of the themes that we have dealt with in the past include the following: Corporate/Organizational Values:
Occupational Health and Safety
Ethics – Values – Code of Conduct
Legal Compliance – Corporate Governance
Diversity, Transformation and Inclusion
Community Outreach Campaigns and Activations
Corporate Branding and Awareness
Practical day-to-day Behavioral patterns of Employees and Stakeholders
Mindset and Behavioural Change Management
‘’Isms’’ – Ageism, Racism, Genderism, Sexism, Rank-ism
Harassment, Discrimination, Gender Based Violence.
These and other themes have been communicated in our Industrial Theatre in the past. In our Industrial Theatre, the actors will also highlight how corporate or organizational values will affect not only the employees’ lives in a positive way but also the entire organization as well as their families and how that can change lives for the better.
