I write regarding the COVID-19 Educational Theater Awareness Roadshow implemented by StageFright Edutainment. I had the pleasure of joining Tiro Venter and his team during performances implemented throughout Cape Town. The performance was creatively sophisticated, highly engaging, and provided a crucial opportunity for marginalized individuals and communities to gain knowledge concerning the importance of vaccination and health measures that help prevent infection.

Mr Venter has a natural ability to work with emerging artists, and his commitment to nurturing young talent is evident in the way he approaches both the artistic and professional aspects of theatre. Through his leadership, students not only developed valuable skills but gained insight into the inner workings of a professional edutainment company.
As the Founder and Company Manager for Stage Fright Edutainment, Mr Venter exhibited remarkable organizational and managerial skills... His ability to manage time, resources, expectations, and extend himself beyond, while maintaining a focus... was truly exemplary.
I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Tiro Venter for any role that involves applied theatre practice, education, project and professional management. His professionalism, expertise, noble act of selflessness; and passion for the development of emerging theatre artists makes him an asset to any organization.

We are pleased to provide this letter of recommendation for Mr Tiro Venter of StageFright Edutainment, who was appointed by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) to develop and deliver an industrial theatre production on workplace ethics. Throughout the project, Mr Venter demonstrated exceptional professionalism, creativity and dedication to delivering a high-quality production. Notably, he conducted extensive research on SACAA's organisational culture, values and objectives, which enabled him to craft a tailored script that resonated with our staff and the organisation as a whole.

StageFright assisted our company, RCL FOODS, with a series of industrial theatre performances for a period of 8 months. Using industrial theatre helped us connect and communicate very effectively with most of our employees. From a messaging point of view, the script StageFright delivered exceeded our expectations and communicated our message in fun and inspiring way, while the performances were delivered in a professional and creative way. Our experience of working with StageFright was great all round. Tiro is very professional in his approach, delivers within the expected timeframes and responds timeously.

The South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh) made use of the services of Stagefright at its International Health and Safety Conference that was held at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg. Stagefright was given a 45min timeslot to deliver an Occupational Health and Safety Industrial Theatre show. The actors performed a series of recognizable and relevant storylines and situations which the delegates could identify with themselves and their workplaces. It was performed in a fun, non-confrontational and impartial manner. The message that was delivered was forthright, hard hitting and direct. The delegates loved the performance which was fulfilled with laughter, song and dance as well as audience participation which is ‘’key’’ for communicating pressing issues. Saiosh can strongly recommend the services of Stagefright.
Chief Executive Officer, SAIOSH.

I had the pleasure of working with Tiro Venter and his team from StageFright on several occasions at Anglo American Platinum’s Smelting Group in Rustenburg and Swartklip. With their industrial theatre teams, they facilitated the All-inclusive Workplace Interventions (AWI) as well as the embedding of our new Organization Culture Transformation (OCT). They have been involved with these interventions at Anglo American Platinum since 2016. With the AWI interventions, they tackled the difficult subject of all the “..isms'' (Racism, Age-ism, Sexism, Able-ism, Rank-ism) in the workplace. Lastly, their conduct is impeccable, delivered on time, always well prepared and you will be answered (again on time) when you have a question or concern. I would therefore highly recommend StageFright and will most definitely make use of their services in the future should an occasion arise again.

This serves to confirm that Stagefright Edutainment successfully assisted the company with a very entertaining but informative industrial theatre play. The company was launching its Anti-bullying, anti-harassment & anti-discrimination policy and wanted to share the lessons with about 400 employees in style. Outstanding in our experience in partnering with Stagefright Edutainment was the team's commitment, the quality of consultations in respect of the play content, input, and expert advice on the set up and logistics. This made the days unforgettable to the employees. Without a doubt, I would recommend Stagefright Edutainment to any company to convey a lesson or a message in style.

During the Gautrain Management Agency’s (“GMA”) Annual Compliance Day, the GMA contracted StageFright to render musical theatre production services, with the view to enhancing regulatory compliance awareness to the rest of GMA personnel. This confirms that Stagefright's performance was a huge success during our gender-based violence campaign held at RST Special Metals. This performance put on by them has had a huge impact on how the message regarding gender-based violence was carried out, the employees gave management a lot of positive feedback as to the various kinds of gender based violence you can encounter in the workplace and at home. I highly recommend and would consider Stagefright for future events at RST.
